you are not alone!

just to prove you are not alone in this fight against the dreaded flab!

week 1 for me wasn't the greatest but i think i wasn't prepared properly for battle, i had no set eating plan for the week and hence was obsessing constantly about what i couldn't have.
i had a lot of salads and veg the first week and was beginning to feel like a rabbit, i did walk (fast) the prom every day for about 40 mins although on the Thursday night i was faced with huge temptation 'a girl's night out' i managed to arrive late thus avoiding the massive meal and drank vodka (as it has no calories... there is a god after all!) for the remainder of the night. The weekend posed a huge problem for me as i was going to dublin for the weekend i did succumb on the sat night to pringles (which i'm annoyed about) and a wee chinese takeaway not quite belfast style but equally delicious!! together with more wine than i had intended to drink!
despite this fall off the wagon i still felt a slightly looser waistband by the end of the week (or maybe i'm only imagining it)
i did not weigh myself at the beginning of the week as i was afraid the result would send me into total depression and sent me back to the food cupboard!
week 2 trying a different tack will follow a diet i found in a magazine and up the exercise regime by taking up boxing!
day 1 began with grapefruit and boiled egg for breakfast, lunch - grapefruit, salad with lots of different leaves and grated carrots, jelly and creme fraiche, dinner- grapefruit followed by scallops and prawns and salad
boxing from 7-8pm the hardest workout i've done in years... luck i didn't get a heart attack!
tues was a horrible day , pissing from the heaven's totally depressing and i was feeling really sore and sorry for myself but i stook to the diet breakfast was the same lunch was a prawn salad and dinner was and omlette filled with cottage cheese. by the way i discovered that a little balsamic vinegar makes the salads a lot more tasty! i was glad to survive day 2 this week
day 3 back walking again lunch today kinda boring boiled egg and black tea but dinner was better with cod baked with carrot and peas followed by jelly.
i'm feeling more in control now but really dreading the weekend as i'm off to boston for a wedding and it will be impossible to follow a diet there so i'm prepared to give it a miss for the week and star back with avengence when i return. i have booked a cross country ski session for the sunday so that should help burn some of those dreaded calories!!
anyway back to this week day 4 breakfast was poached egg and 2 rashers..yum! lunch - orange and grapefruit salad and fish steamed with spinach and carrots and peas followed by yogurt.
today friday i started with grapefruit prunes and yogurt lunch will be melted brie(posh or what?) with crudities of carrot and celery and some unsalted nuts and dinner stirfry followed by baked pear drizzled with honey and a glass of white wine.
i have continued my walking regime , i am quite happy with my progress this week but i don't see a huge difference size wise .. i guess i'm just impatient
anyway happy slimming! i am following your efforts day by day the pics are great but don't look too appetising well done for sticking to it!!

I am very impressed with your accomplishments, darling!
And Very proud for you to bringing the subject here

As you know we with Pasha has decided to quit drinking (at least for January) which actually made us miss already parties aplenty – but positively affected the financial balance! I am not sure exactly how much we spent insofar, but that could not possibly be more then a trip to Lida – and actually way less then that!

So out starving diet is actually a good way to save a few coppers…

In any case – although the food might not look very pretty – and is certainly does not – it is quite tasty. One would never really believe that we can eat something that is not tasty.

However, this is about to change anyway.
We are off this particular diet in about a week – with two more days of chicken and – oh heavens! – three days of cheese and wine (which we would enjoy in the city in a good company!), after which Pasha moves to a regular slimming diet (salad – soup – chicken/fish vegetables) whereas I would continue to struggle with the fat doing the grapefruit week and after that – joining Pasha.

A good thing is that I would also (hopefully) join me father in the sports complex – with free runs and swims every second day (three times a week)

A key to the slimming waist is, as one of my trainers put it log ago:
Run and Diet – there is no other way

Ah, my memory...
Completely missed: two microsmissions within a diet:

micromission 1: ten days of the exercise you and Goran witnesses once at the Love Doves Nest in Minks

And micromission 2: quit using the list if the stairs are available. Completely, like
